Nike Air Max 95 ‘Metallic Gold’
The Air Max 95 risked everything. Gone was the architectural style of the original. Gone were the iconic lace locks. Even the Swoosh was relegated to a grace note at the heel. Designer Sergio Lozano wiped the slate clean, taking his inspiration from the natural lines of a canyon’s revealed strata. The result was a sensual, sculptural design that seemed to be in motion before you even slipped it on. Twenty-two years later, the Air Max 95 returns in a Metallic Gold colorway that nods to the original Air Max 97.
The Nike Air Max 95 ‘Metallic Gold’ ($215) will be available on May 18th in store at Dipt. First Come First Serve.
